Main Idea or Research Questions:
This study aimed to identify the prevalence of obesity among persons with disabilities in Jordan. Body Mass Index (BMI) was calculated and compared it to global standard for the classification of body weight by BMI of the World Health Organization (WHO). The two main research questions that this stuy tries to answer: (1) What is the prevalence of obesity among people with mental Illness and people with visual impairement? (2) Does the prevalence of obesity change with the type of disability, gender and age of the person with disabilty?
